    1968 fuel gauge

Anybody know where that thread on trouble shooting the fuel electrical is at? I can't find it. This problem with the fuel gauge is very frustrating. I put everything back together today and it still has the same problem. More work on it tomorrow.

    1968 A/c

I have a stock a/c from the factory. If I was to go with a Sanden compressor would I need a new condensor and dryer? Brackets etc? Anything else? Or should I stick with the original? The Sanden say's R-12. I thought R-12 was obsolete. CJ Pony Parts has a 15% off sale, but I'd hate to buy...

1968 Gas Gauge problems and a few questions

Yesterday I went for a drive. The gauge seems to want to work. The way the tach moves the gauge needle on the fuel gauge moves with it? In two weeks I will remove the bezel and rework the cluster. And move the ground. Any other suggestions would be helpful.

1968 Gas Gauge problems and a few questions

Thanks for the info. The only thing that I did different was put a small retro tach where the clock goes. I grounded it to the steering column. When I return from work in 2 weeks I am going to check it all out again. I hate pulling that thing out too. But learned a shortcut the last time. I will...

1968 Gas Gauge problems and a few questions

I replaced the instrument bezel. Therefore I had to remove all components. When I reinstalled the gas gauge it wants to peg out past full. I have repeatedly loosened the bezel and adjusted the connections. Sometimes it only last a short time.I checked the ground at the tank. It worked fine...

1968 What do you like the most about the 1968 Mustang?

I alway's liked the body styles of the 67 and 68. I liked the cheese grater side panels of the 67. My uncle had a 67 and talked about the Shelby's all the time. Then I noticed the GT/CS and since it was made from a 68 this is what I liked the best. Because even if the side panels were cheese...

    1968 E-10 Ethanol

There is a station in the middle of town that sells no ethanol gas. They have been selling it for years and I didn't even notice the sign. I filled up yesterday and they are full service. Needless to say he spilled gas all over the back of the car. $2.72 a gallon.

This is our first child for both of us. My son will carry the name for another generation since I was the only boy with...
