    6-Cylinder '68 Mustang

The I6 axel is not a removable carrier. I have not changed gears in one, I opted to find another complete axel with a better ratio. Most automatics were 2.82 and the manuals were 3.25. I may have a 3.25. It really made a great driver out of our 67.

    For Sale 1968 GT/CS Highland Green 289/302

To do it correctly you need to pull out the front and back glass, then have it painted, Install the head liner, then the top and reinstall the glass and trim. The headliner glues around the pinch weld for the front and back glass so there is no good way to replace the headliner with out pulling...

    1968 1968 Console Insert

Good luck making anything that looks correct. I would watch the auction to near the end and then make a offer. Parts like these that are not reproduced are tough to find and expensive when you do.

    1968 Flashers

I looked in the 68 electrical assembly manual and it gave no value for the flashers. The NPD catalog lists a 224 323 and a 552 for turn signal for $2.95 Emergency flasher # 552 for $2.95 68 GTCS repro 13350-200A $104.95 Hope this helps

    1968 Flashers

Do they not work now? What is there? Might just try a new replacement.

    1968 Flashers

I think a 223 will work but sometime you just have to experiment to get the flash speed you like. Marty

For Sale Tahoe HCS (Ernie/Curtis/Guy Car)

The early Marti reports did list them with the GTCS option. Note the 51 DSO. Subsequently Kevin Marti has noted on the 51 DSO cars HCS Man I love that Tahoe Turquoise color. I wish I had bought that one. I can not believe that it was not more popular. Marty

For Sale Tahoe HCS (Ernie/Curtis/Guy Car)

Wow what a beautiful car! I almost bought this car but took the red HCS from Curtis. I see it was sold from Laplata Motors in Durango Co same dealer as my unrestored HCS Small world.

    For Sale 1968 GT/CS Highland Green 289/302

I am with the repaint guys. Unless the entire car has been kept in unrestored condition I would bring it back to it's original glory. My 68 52K mile original paint unrestored HCS has just about all of the patina that I can stand.

    1968 Interior Door Lock knobs

No difference standard or deluxe, chrome. The reproductions are pretty sad so I look for NOS or replate them. The correct bezel is clear plastic. The 69 stainless with a felt pad inside is better because it will not break or rattle just not correct.

Wanted "Special" script needed - just broke one

NPD sell them. I do see NOS ones on eBay sometimes.

    Trunk Weatherstrip

There are no trunk lid bumpers, the tape provides protection from paint chips.

    50th Anniversary Party

I am the show chairman for the MCA national show July 12-15th 2018 in Lincoln NE. We are in the center on the country so not too far for anyone. I could arrange a spot for all of the GTCS's and HCS's . I can tell you we are going to do something special for all of the 68's at the show since it...

I believe it was molded off a steel deck lid.

For Sale '68 HCS for Auction

They are some what more valuable. I think the reason that they are not more valuable is they are so rare that most people, even Mustang people do not know what a HCS is. With only 251 made and only a handful sold each year, consequently not lots of them on the big auctions or eBay so people just...
