Arlie, That is the correct bracket; and you are correct that it is not installed properly. The bracket should be horizontal and the upper/lower lips should face the grill. The lips prevent the bracket from twisting. Danny

The photos posted by GTCS1 are very close to correct; however one piece is missing. The screw will come from the backside out and there is a small rectangle piece b/t the screw and the grill. I don't think they are reproduced and difficult to find on parts cars. I did not have one that was...

Casey, Cast gray should work for you. On my car I phosphated the drum and then blacked out a portion along the edge and face of the drum. Ford blacked out the drum on cars that had the styled steel wheel option. Danny

The spare tire/ wheel did not have a trim ring or center cap. MCA rules require the tire to be the same as the 4 tires on the car. Danny

I just received a call from Dave at ECS Automotive and they have reproduced the correct emissions decal for the '68 J-Code motor. It should now be available, he is sending mine out today. Danny

I talked with Dave Walden from ECS Automotive and forwarded picture of the decal. He was working on the decal as we were speaking. They are moving forward with the decal and hopefully they will be available in a couple months or sooner. I'll keep you all posted. This should be a welcome...

Shaun, The only way to be sure is to order a Marti report or request a 999 report from Ford Customer Service. Both of these reports will list the options your car left the factory with. Marti is a private company and charges for his service, Ford does not charge. You will get more info from...
