If you are a Mustang enthusiast, you know about the California Special Mustangs offered in 1968. For those who don’t know about them, here is a little back story. During the 1968 model run, the California Western region Ford Dealers offered a limited production Mustang which was based on the...

1968 How to test Voltage Regulator?

I am attaching the Ignition Starting and Charging guide. Looks like there is a ground wire attached to the plate on the Regulator. Have you checked to make sure the ground is attached correctly?

1968 How to test Voltage Regulator?

Which Voltage Regulator did you buy off of Kentucky Mustang? Looking on their site I see they have a Scott Drake (C8TF-10316-1) unit and a AMK Product (C8AF-10316-A). If I remember correctly you have a 302 without A/C???

For Sale Artie on Bring a Trailer

From what I see in the pictures looks like they detailed it very nicely. I also see that they replaced the tires and shocks. Wonder why they replaced the carpet? Was nugget gold but now black. Oh and the black wedge in the driver side door is gone now.

For Sale 68 GTCS 390 4 speed with GT option

This car has been for sale for a good while from this seller. The Original ad from Arizona was back in 2019 and I have added that link below. The person that restored it didn't do that great of a job on paint IMO. They also have adjusted this price up and down a few times...

    1968 1968 gt/cs

I agree with Marty and Arlie. The first car that came to mind was Allen's and his marti doesn't show stripe color either. So I am guessing his car got white because of the red interior.

1968 Why not convert my GT/CS to convertible

First I want to say you have a really nice GT/CS. I see in your attach link that it appears you may have to buy a convertible for support brackets and top. If money wasn't an issue why not buy a good convertible and put a Shelby appears package on it? Not sure if you have to have a 68 but I...

    1968 Headliner wrinkle struggles

I have never installed one but I watch the guy from Peterson Restorations last year and he made it look pretty easy. I was shocked how he had very little wrinkles by his prep work in trimming the edges. Not sure if this will help you and your project. But wish you best on getting it to the way...
