    1968 No Dome light

This is a original car and headliner. There is no light socket or wiring. It is hard to believe that it got passed Ford quality control.

    1968 No Dome light

When I got our latest unrestored HCS I noticed that it has no done light. Something every coupe that I have seen has. This car also has front floor lights. Those are only normally only found on fastbacks and convertibles. Do any of you have this set up?

    1968 Ruppstang's new HCS

I am so excited, I have always wanted a unrestored Mustang. The problem is the ones I have found are always too far gone to not restore them. They were only built by Ford once and that is what I want. I found this 53K original paint C code HCS in Eastern Kansas but it was sold new in Durango...

Man Rob your black car looks like a beast just sitting there waiting for a unsuspecting Chevy!

    1968 17 Inch Wheel Measurements

I think that is too big of a rim on a older car. The ride on a older car was not only determined by the suspension but also the side wall of the tires. New car suspension is much more capable of smoothing the ride with the low profile tires. If you are going to track the car and have no concern...

    1968 Stripe color ????

I can not imagine not using a white stripe on Highland Green regardless the top color. Gold stripe looks good but not original.

    1968 Stripe color ????

I am not sure if the stripe color was predetermined by Ford or it was a buyers choice. Marti reports tell us nothing. A build sheet may have some answers. I would love to a GTCS dealer order sheet. That would give us the answer. Marty

    1968 Stripe color ????

Yes with a black top and interior I believe that the stripe would be black. We have a Brittany blue car with a black interior no vinyl top that has white stripes. Marty

Yes it got plowed, possibly by a cow. LOL It makes me laugh every time I look at it. It will be absorbed in to my parts inventory soon. Anyone need some used tires and rims?

    . !969 California Special??

Cool looking car for sure. Nothing wrong with a fun-cool driver. I like your Acapulco blue KR it is our GT350's big brother.

    Drag car?

Here is a 68 coupe that I picked up yesterday. It looks like a drag car that was so slow it was rear ended. I got a few extra parts with it that included a white sparkplug wire separator and original engine vacuum lines. Marty Can't seem to post pics. will try latter.
