    1968 Found my unicorn...

Nice find. It is very common for them to break at the bottom. Never try to screw them on or off by the top. That is how they break. Look in side the tube and you will see a hex molded in the plastic. I made a tool to turn it in and out by that hex. Best repair for the cracks is JB Weld then...

    Wanted 68 california special carb

Yes it is a OEM carb. It has a 1967 tag on it. It was running well on my son's car so it should not need to be rebuilt. I seem to have misplaced my camera. I'll get some pictures as soon as I locate it. Marty

    Little Blue Coupe

This is a 4spd so it enters the transmission on the passenger side so it uses a LH rotation gear. 3spds, C4 and C6 all enter on the drivers side and use a RH gear. Putting in the wrong gear would only chew up the teeth.

    Little Blue Coupe

Thanks I am excited about the Night Mist Blue color, I have never restored a dark blue Mustang. The chrome trim looks great on it. Yes wit 15 inch wheels you must change the speedometer drive gear. Only takes five minutes.
