Mine is a Casting # C8AE-6015-B, and definitely a 302 block built as a 289. I know this as the engine was recently apart. It is not, however the original engine for the car but it does match the Marti as a C code car. :grin:

My data plate date is out by a couple of days from the Marti as well. I think it's scheduled vs actual date built.

The clusters are not that difficult to remove. If I can do it, you certainly can. :wink: IIRC, the clocks often quit working due to dirt on the insides. Yes, the clock receives it's power from the battery. I think the best fix of all is to just have them quartzed. Nice option to have on...

I know we are talking about 68 GT/CS cars here, but just for reference I owned a 67 Coupe a few years back. It had a factory clock in it but it was a fairly low-optioned car. It certainly didn't have the deluxe interior.
