    1968 Driving a GT/CS...

I agree with you. The GT/CS gets a LOT of attention. I have had at least two occasions where people were taking cell phone video of me driving along. At car shows, it seems like every second person is taking pictures. Big smiles and thumbs up whenever I take it out.

    Oscar Mayer Wiener Mobile

I have a 1/18th of that thing. Someone I used to work with gave it to me. I think it was probably a promotional diecast from Oscar Meyer.

    1968 GT/CS Rear Quarter Script

I just went out and checked mine. Both sides appear to be the older style and are in beautiful shape. Looking at the newer script, it appears to have more rounded surfaces, whereas the older style is much flatter. That is what I am seeing on my car.

    Gremlin at Mecum Monterey

Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me. I was sure the Pinto had the 2800cc engine. I thought it was a european engine.

    Gremlin at Mecum Monterey

I had one of those Pinto Squire wagons back in the day. It was blue and had the 2800cc engine in it. Went pretty good. Now I'd take an AMX any day of the week. Always liked them!

    1968 Solenoid question

I had a NPD concours level solenoid fail on the second start. They sent me a replacement and it has been fine for over two years now. You just never know these days with most of the repros being made in China.
