I check 15 windows and these are possibly the best two. Outsides are pretty good, some pops in side. I am not sure how good you need them to be. Marty

The Branda lid is the best reproduction that I that I know of, that said count on doing some work on it to make it fit. I have a original but it need some repair work. Marty

It could be. I would spray some carb cleaner around the spacer plate and intake gaskets while it is running and see what happens.

He has changed carbs and has the exact same symptoms, seems unlikely the carb is the problem. As you said Rob it is tough figuring this stuff out from afar.

I recently had a bad solenoid that would cause loss of ignition when revving. When we checked with a volt meter we found only 1.5V, Tapped on the solenoid and got 9.5. It may be something else to check. Marty
