    Mustang No. 12 acquired today...

Rhonda, I don't know '66s that well, but it appears to be decorative molding that follows the body lines. I've seen it on others as well, but I can't speak to its originality. TJ & I pressure washed the underside, lubed fittings and took turns driving the neighborhood today... What a sweet...

. July 2010 Seattle MCA Show, Northwest Get Together Part Two

...ALRIGHT! Nice pictures Renee! Nice GT/CSs too! Nice to catch a glimpse of Marty, papa Neil, Satan... and I see You found a perfect pal for the walk-around ;-) The golf cart is neat & would indeed come in handy! It looks like it could share many of the body parts with the pool table Jon...
  3. Midnight Special

    Mustang pool table anyone?

...Pretty neat Jon! Maybe "Clubpro" could get you a better deal ;-)

    Mustang No. 12 acquired today...

Thanks Marty (and Steve), She was definitely repainted into this color. VIN is 6R07Txxxxxx. Door tag data is hard to read until I strip a little paint away. The original color based on the inside of the trunk was a pale yellow...

    . Saac-35 invitation

...Pretty neat limo there JBART, but by all accounts - I think most people here would want your CS to meet them at the airport ;-)
  6. Midnight Special

    Mustang No. 12 acquired today...

...Renee, I don't know what the color is. 'Sort of a grayish bluish... 'Not real pretty, but we've all seen old cars with beautiful paint jobs that are otherwise "shot" mechanically. The beauty of this one is in the opposite...

I know there is no such thing

...Sorry for the mis-spell Arlie (not Arly)
  8. Midnight Special

    Mustang No. 12 acquired today...

...although I really didn't intend to! After attending an air show "wrap-up" meeting (and having a reputation for bringing a different Mustang to all meetings preceding), our Ground Ops Boss pulled me aside & said "hey, I got this old Mustang in my hangar that I really want to find a good home...
  9. Midnight Special

I know there is no such thing

...True Arly unless they were cloning a '67 perhaps. All you would need there is the fiberglass hood and grille w/ aircraft lights. No?
  10. Midnight Special

I know there is no such thing

...I always wondered why (for the effort) they didn't clone it as a Shelby vert. As Jeff Speegle pointed out - a GT/CS convertible is not a clone, because there never was one... Why drive around only to be reminded over & over again by an increasingly informed base that your in nothing more...

...Yes, Keep them coming! Rob - your lakeside cabin is spectacular and the BBQ & boating you put on...Wow! I'm so sorry to have missed that. Renee was so gracious in calling me with updates and passing the phone around to my "cousins in cars" :-) You all made my weekend nonetheless! Amy -...

Replacement grill for my 68 GTCS

...And what a magnificent shop it is Cory! (I've been watching its progress through your other venues as well ;-) Now with all you said - May I (now) go ahead & arrange shipment of a car or two?? ;-))

. July 2010 Seattle MCA Show, Northwest Get Together Part Two

...BIG Ditto to that all around David! "PonyGal" called me from the hotel lobby yesterday afternoon. The noise in the background was intense, festive and warm. After a brief, but equally intense description of the incredible cars and all the people arriving, she handed the phone to Neil who's...

1968 windshield washer floor trigger pedal

Dave, only one of mine has the rubber pad, so I believe they came with one (others here will know...) It looks to be a type that would slip off and get disposed of easily with time...

1968 windshield washer floor trigger pedal

Oh yeah, they're great fun. You could also tell people they are voice command. With both hands on the wheel - tap the pedal whenever your passenger sneezes ;-)
  19. Midnight Special

1968 windshield washer floor trigger pedal

...Wow! Nice Car!! That wiper pedal is the real deal and stock on '68s. I only wish they would've continued through '69 & 70 as it's the best intermittent wiper feature I've seen on any car, new or old! :-)

    1968 wheel well molding

...Interesting Mike. My green S-code has them as well. I assumed they were factory (or perhaps dealer) installed.
