where are you getting this info? my 88 reg shows 118687, 120928, 120013 (it shows this as a S code) as the first 3 registered cars (page 56).

from the auction above the outer knobs are the ones on the bottom. when looking at the knobs as if they were installed this is how I get the outer/inner descriptions. let's not make this more difficult than it really is. :grin:

can't say I am a big fan of the trim rings on the steel wheels. I got in my cans of paint to finish up the wheels for the 390. Should get to it this weekend.

nope console cone shaped ones are longer. you will also need long console knobs.

Arlie, yes the cone shaped outer ones. Paul you have the inner and outer mixed up. inner is the volume and outer is the fade/treble.

I have a set of the outer large NOS ones if you need them. I paid $55 for them so $60 delivered is your price. They are perfect and in the old Ford box. PM me.

OK guys and gals let's get those bids in for the 88 registries. all money raised goes toward the cost I already paid to get the engine/transmission data. If I don't get enough bids from the site I will list them on Ebay (I would much rather a board member own these).

funny you say that but when I bought my first mustang there was one of these that I HAD to have. It had no top and my wifes car and my other car had spaces in the garage. I will own one of these with a big block someday.
