    1968 Black Out Blinker Hood

Hmm ...Guess that answers that! I just found it interesting that two GNS cars of the same period, paint and dealer area were GT/CS equipped for no apparent reason, that's all. Call it (c)archeology... We do this when say; an old steam locomotive is found in the woods & we want to know how it...

. July 2010 Seattle MCA Show, Northwest Get Together Part Two

...I hope Cory, Trina & Jace can make it. 'It can be another opportunity for a grand "book" signing, plus I'll actually get to sit & visit with everyone as opposed to running around putting out fires ;-) Jace is a phenomenal and talented young man whom I could easily adopt :-)

    1968 Early GT/CS - Thoughts?

Rob, I think it's a worthwhile and interesting subject - to explore history abnormalities that make our little "niche" all the more intriguing (having seen the same trends in historic aircraft and RR locomotive production runs), but let's leave the "registrar" out of it in this case. He has...

    . A really bad Day!

...Far as I'm concerned Marty - if it happens to you or anyone else here - it happens to all of us! To co-miserate, I have a good friend who raced Unlimiteds at Reno who we crewed for. He qualified in the high 400's and was favored to win the championship that year. (2002) Following a...

    1968 Early GT/CS - Thoughts?

""My GT/CS was actually built on 02/06/68 and released on 02/19/1968. Several other cars have a similar gap."" Scott, would the labor strike at Ford have anything to do with Lisa's car dates? Also, is it possible that some early cars were converted to GT/CS and sold as such after leaving the...

    . Sacramento Intl. car show...

...Yes, I stood and looked at the 429 (in a daze) for quite a while. TJ kept touching it ;-) As for the 2010 - I liked it, but in all fairness after sitting in & playing with Camaros, Challengers, Corvettes and 140 mph Nissans - nothing really stood out other than the "Mustang" legacy we honor...

    . A really bad Day!

...Oh Marty....Damn! So sorry! This will be one of those nights (if you get to sleep) you'll wake up tomorrow hoping it was all a bad dream! Been there too. So sorry for you indeed. I agree with Neil. Solenoid and possibly ignition switch. My black CS kept trying to start itself on cold...

    . Sacramento Intl. car show...

...Yes indeed Steve! I'm kicking myself for passing up that Boss 302 two years ago, but it would've been better suited as a trailer/ show car and not something I would want to drive a lot. I've always loved the Bosses! :-)

    . Sacramento Intl. car show...

...At the Cal Expo Center in northern California. Mostly new cars, but classic Mustangs were well represented to include an original '70 BOSS 429. '68 GT-500KR and J-code GT/CS. Renee "PonyGal" met up with TJ & I which made for a fabulous day! We also got the grand tour of the 2010 Stangs... :-)
