    . Auto transport companies? Suggestions?

Jon, all of my purchases using transport were private party and someone I previously didn't know. There is no need for you to fly out and be there for the truck. Typically it went like this: 1) Purchased car on e-bay. 2) Called transport company with contact info of seller to arrange pick up...

    . Auto transport companies? Suggestions?

Jon, you're largely correct. The two companies I've dealt with (Intercity best by far) orbit the country and establish their routes based on whatever requests they receive to keep their trucks as full as possible. We're indeed bound by their schedules. What I liked about Intercity was their...

1968 Which are the stock wheels/hub caps on the California Special?

Welcome JV! Both hubcaps you show were among the options for the GT/CS. The cars were also produced as coupes only with the "option combination" (engine, drivetrain, interior, GT package, etc, etc...) same as any 1968 Mustang coupe.

1968 My new old red HCS

Hi Marty, Ironically, I owned and drove that car as my first CS from 1978 to 1980 as a flared-fendered hot rod, but sold it for $800 around 1981. Its condition today is nothing short of miraculous, but I had no involvement... Indeed, Bob Teets is a wonderful and resourceful gentleman! The HCS...

    . Auto transport companies? Suggestions?

I will always use Intercity Lines. For more options, here's the thread from a couple of years ago. http://californiaspecial.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4864&highlight=intercity+lines

1968 Tappets, Rollercams & Zinc Additives

...Not bad at all for "turn key". Stock is just fine and despite all the ZDDP fears, no so called experts have proven conclusively IMO that it's a real problem. There were some defective camshafts where the oils were blamed, but unless you're racing at 6-8K rpm, I'm told not to worry. Neil...

I'm very sorry to hear that Rhonda. Wow, she looks mighty young (and impressive) in the photo. 'Curious about the cause. We too lost a loved one recently, so I am reminded of the sorrow. May God Bless you and Your's.
