    1968 Rims on gt/cs

Scott you are correct in that only the Standard dog dish hub caps had body color on the rims. Full wheel cover had black rims. It was common for cars to be ordered with the standard dog dish covers but at the time of sale or shortly after to have them switched to full covers. Marty

    1968 Sequential tailights

Dalorzo is correct the metal tabs are wire harness retainers and all Mustangs have them. Your appears to have the rubber tip removed and a hole drilled in it. What a special car you have! I wonder why owners did not just buy a Shelby? They had enough GOLD. Marty

1968 Tail Light Panel Screw Question

After thinking on this a bit it may be very likely that at times the washer head screws were not available and as all way the line needed to keep moving so the vallance screws were substuted. If I was restoring a car and all of the screws were the same and apeared to be original that is what I...

1968 Tail lights block off plates-Question

I have seen them on ebay and I think Tony Branda may have them. They were used on GTCS, HCS and Shelbys. They made room for wireing and tail light sockets. Protected it from things in the trunk. There also were card board sheilds. Marty
