    1968 Ammeter Circuit

The first thing I try is cleaning the terminals that attach to the solenoid till they are shiny. It will not read correctly with corrosion on them. Works on most cars. Did that work Neil?

    1968 don't MESS with Renee!....

It will be a blast to drive with a fresh engine. I told one of my best friends the other day it is a good thing we have these old cars, gives us something to talk about other than our aches, pains and pills. We are never too old to learn and my cars seem to allways have something new to teach...

1968 Need help - Brake Question

The SS lines can be a bit tough to get sealed because they are so hard. I use the plain steel. Marty

    . 67 over heating problem

It is finally warm enough to give Craig's 67 a good test and guess what same problem. I noticed the gage needles jump a bit so I changed the instrument voltage regulator. Was not it, at least when the dash was apart I installed a mini tach in the clock position so was not a total wast of time...

    1968 Two Painless kits ...

It is hard to beat Ford wiring that Ford poured many dollars of enginering in to for one model of car. As Rob said put some sweat equity in to cleaning up your old harness or replace the parts that are not repairable.

Paul she looks really sweet. Don't you got to love all the legal hoops you have to jump through just to pay your taxes so you can drive a car that you! built. Marty

    1968 Two Painless kits ...

I would stay with factory Ford harness. Good used stuff for under $300 except the tail light harness which is unique to the GT-CS and HCS. If you decide to go that way let me know I have all lot of that stuff around. Marty

    1968 Due Exhaust Question

I would agree Scott makes the best. I have correct systems on our 68 fastback and 67 GTA convertable. I got them both from Mustangs Unlimited. The fastback's is very good( 15 years old) but the one on the GTA is not bent right and the muffler hangs a little low (4 years old). I think someone...
