    1968 AC vacuum line routing

It gos about mid way on the side of the left support. If you look at the picture of the retainer you can see that it would need to be on the side. As far as the routing is conserned every factory car I have had the vac lines were taped to the harness with friction tape. I am sure it would work...

1968 Electrical problem when I press brakes, lights go off & on

Dalorzo it looks like your AC vac lines are routed wrong. They follow the main wiring harness in front of the dash support. There is a hole on the side of the left support that is where the screw gos that mounts the metal retainer that keeps the hose away from the wiper arms. Hope this helps. Marty

1968 Electrical problem when I press brakes, lights go off & on

I have Halogens in our 68 fastback and have driven it thousands of miles all over the country and the lights have never gone out once. I would put in a new heavy duty switch and I bet you will be fine. Unless there is some resistance wiring issue. Marty

    1968 Trunk wiring

My brain was not engaged. I was thinking of standard Mustangs not GT-CS. No GT-CS had the trunk light, but the Shelbys did. As CougarCJ said you will need to run a ground wire as well. The hole is in the deck lid for it. Marty

    1968 Correct Engine Color?

The Ford dark corporate blue is correct. Jeff also is right there were slight variations. One thing that is mis leading in photos is the flash tends to wash out the color and some folk just get the wrong color. It is hard to tell in pictures. Marty

Sounds like a bad turn signal switch. A very common problem with our cars. Marty

    1968 Trunk wiring

One other explanation is on older wire that has been striped gets corrosion on it and even with flux is very hard to flow the solder. Try flowing the solder on each wire seprately then place them together and flow the solder. Best of luck Marty
