How do you pull the Control Valve off the Pitman Arm?

...I agree. My yellow Mach w/ 221K miles now goes down the highway in a way simular to flying a small airplane with a severe crosswind. I've never heard of a box failing completely without plenty of warning, however...

How do you pull the Control Valve off the Pitman Arm?

...David, I used a standard three prong gear puller from the top of the tapered stud (3-fingered) down to the base of the pitman arm (using the nut to protect the end threads). A combination of pressure from the puller and tapping on the wedges popped it loose... I didn't have the headers in...

Humor - WHY MEN DO NOT WRITE ADVICE COLUMNS

...Same here, 'cept it was a '72 Maverick my daughter was interested in. 'Half way between the owner's house & mine, (1/2 mile) - it quit cold. After pushing it home and a series of tests - pulled the top of the carb off to find nothing but "tar" caked around the float valve. I got a clue...

    Halogen tail light bulbs

...I just installed a set of Jamstait 1157R (from Kragen). They light, but no turn signal probably due to low amperage... Neil, did you have to install a compatible flasher unit? Are your bulbs different than these recommended to me? Some reading just I did said to add a resistor to increase...

    Halogen tail light bulbs

...I'm going to try the LEDs (non-sequentials) shortly & will report... Sequentials might look good on the clone, but I won't use on the real CS. Here's a video found on YouTube (kinda' boring) of a nice looking CS with some typical (bizarre) tail light behavior. What's up w/ that? ;-)...

My L.A. / Galpin Ford Story

...I didn't think it too out of context to comment on "Pimp my ride" among friends here. It was also part of both threads with your dealership visits prominent. But as they say; if your having too much fun - it's gotta be illegal somehow... Oh well, 'party's over - back to business...

...I wanted to take a moment here and thank everyone. paticularly Mike for the kind reflections about Jay during the "Missing Man" portion of the BBQ fly-bys.
