1968 Good news / Bad news from the 2011 Recognition Guide

Agreed on the privacy issue and I think that it's a must as we may lose some potential information without the option of listing as "Private Owner". I'm sure out there somewhere there is a system that does this very thing that we could benchmark so we aren't reinventing the wheel.

1968 Good news / Bad news from the 2011 Recognition Guide

Not sure if the Garage feature has the capability but here at work we have similar process in our product formulas and there is a section for history so anytime anything is modified the formula will represent the new changes however the history has every modification captured with the date etc...

    1968 1968.5 Mustang...

In his comments below the add it says he has a Marti verifying the CS option but he won't give out the vin # to anyone but the buyer. On a positive note it's around 5K and if the wheels are original Shelby 10 spokes and in good condition they might be worth 5K alone. ;-)

For Sale Shelby Wheels: Nice finishing touch for our GT/CS

Seems like there would be some close ups of each individual wheel for that kind of $, may very well be worth it but I'd want to see some close ups of the show side of the wheel if I was interested. I do like the looks of the 10 spokes but not for that much cash.

. Your thoughts on the new California Special book/registry

I think if we had the right people with the right motives we may be able to get some info if it's still available. It would be great to uncover some of this and solve some of the remaining mysteries.

1968 Good news / Bad news from the 2011 Recognition Guide

My Marti documented car that was in the first two publications is also not in the new book, at my own request I'll add because of the attitude of the author and how he VERY UNJUSTLY treated the very people that could have made him an icon in the CS world. Through all of this from upmteen years...

Well that sucks. We had a wonderful Friday in the 70's, the weekend has been off and on rain, nice, wind and a little of everything but snow!!

    2007+ Can't wait!

That is amazing! I custom ordered in an F150 years ago, took some time but I don't think it was anywhere near this long and I don't think they do custom orders like they used to. Seems like anymore they will just locate one like you want and if there isn't one too bad. If you get a lemon I'd...

    Hood Stripping

I don't have pictures, but I'll offer that it for sure won't torpedo the value, probably won't even reduce the value and if they are done to Mustang specs for 1968 may even increase the value to someone that likes the looks of the stripes like you and I do!

1968 Anyone ship a Mustang recently?

In one of the other forums I'm in there is a topic about a place you put in a request and various truckers will check their schedules and if they have a spot they bid on hauling for you. May not be applicable for a finished car or maybe there are car haulers I don't know. I do know for hauling...
