    1968 Changing oil pan gasket

I'm far from the mechanical guy in this group but I would offer if you haven't done it already, validate that it is the oil pan gasket the best you can before you head that direction. Probably start with pressure washing or cleaning it very well to insure that the oil isn't coming from above...

1968 Which are the stock wheels/hub caps on the California Special?

No fastbacks and no convertibles were made, at least that is the evidence thus far and there isn't any indication that there were. As for the wheels you could get about any combination available in 68, the GT cap was a part of the GT package. Being a GT/CS didn't mean it had the GT package...

. Target date for book release?

Best way to find out is ask for it back if you pre-paid and no longer have an interest in the book and see what he says. If you want the book then you should hang in there I guess, I'm sure the book will be amazing from what he says, if you trust what he says? I can't say that I do anymore, I...

    Happy Birthday Diesel Donna!!

Based on all the pictures you sent for the book I'd say you can claim any age you want, you look every bit as good in the current pics as you do in the 70's/80's pics you sent. Have a wonderful day!! Cory

. Target date for book release?

Doesn't sound like it's going to be an accurate representation of a registry where it includes or excludes who ever the "Registrar" deems his loyal followers "or not" so it has no value in my opinion. An inaccurate representation by not registering all CS cars is worthless due to the void it...

Gas Mileage: Who's CS drinks fuel the quickest/slowest?

Now I just need to convince the wife that we will live long enough to see the pay back on the great fuel economy. ;-)

Gas Mileage: Who's CS drinks fuel the quickest/slowest?

Seriously, wow that is amazing, I should be able to upgrade from my Festiva based entirely on gas mileage to a new CS. So how much of an investment beyond the car in the cold air power pack did you have to get the 30+ gas mileage? Still amazed. Cory

    1968 Cory's Book Deadline

We have reached the point that we should be able to wrap this book up in fairly quick order so I'm going to post a deadline. We have a small percentage of members signed up that have given me a good indication of when they will be able to wrap up their sections and we also have some that I...

    '68 C code GT/CS on E-bay

That is pretty lame that he would nit pick other cars when his isn't exactly correct, he needs to list his with the issues around his. Are his fog lights in the grill mounted correct? They look low to me? Cory

    . If you're anywhere West...

Los Gatos, that would be good, my dad lives in Fremont and we have a really good friend that lives on the Aldercroft Heights road near Los Gatos so I would have a place to stay, doubt I would have my car but I just might make that trip if it happens so I can meet you all. Book signing maybe...
