New Knight Rider w/ Shelby GT500KR

I'd have to say that I agree, Shelby in the Ford world was something to respect, admire and dream about owning. Now it's almost as if he realizes his time is limited and he's hoarding and whoring it as much as he can before he's gone. By the time he's done it may be a joke, already getting...

    GT/CS at Barrett-Jackson

Looks like the Seafoam car is a 302 not a 390. Sure seems like Seafoam Green is the popular color for Barretts Even the blue 289 car was originally Seafoam Green and if I remember correct the first CS on Barretts was also Seafoam Green.

    01 Bullitt

Thanks for all the input guys, I'll take a closer look when I have studied up a bit. It's one of those issues where you don't know if you are helping or disappointing them if you bring the reality of the situation to their attention when you uncover that it isn't what it's made out to be...

    01 Bullitt

Any Bullitt knowledgeable Mustangers out there? A guy I work with came to the office today and told me to check out his 01 Bullitt that he had just bought. I checked it out, has 96 thousand miles, has the gray leather interior which I understand is correct also had a cobra emblem on the side...

When did you know that you wanted a 1968 GT/CS?

I owned a 65 Mustang and I was at my brothers house when a friend of his pulled in driving what is now my 68 CS. I told him point blank that if he ever sold the car I would buy it. He assured me it would never be for sale as it has always been in his family. About 3-4 years later I saw it...

    Lucky Break

I hear ya, it's one of those things that you wake up at night and keep thinking this is too good to be true, you worry that everytime the phone or doorbell rings it's going to be someone to break the bad new that some little legal glitch is going to ruin it all. Can't wait to see the pictures. Cory

    GT/CS sighting!

I've been busy as all get out in my new management position. I used to have time at work as a Superintendent to catch up on here quite frequently but not so in the new position. Managing the place keeps me up in the middle of the night on the phone making decisions, in early, staying late and...

California Special script, right or wrong.

Passenger side incorrect, quarter was replaced due to accident, I did not own the car at the time so I do not know if the script was correct or incorrect prior. Don't know my build date. Cory

    GT/CS sighting!

Nice, another Acapulco Blue CS in Idaho. I was sure reading your post that you were going to be the carb repairman and save the day. Guess they didn't have time. Cory

Have you been offered an interesting trade for your GT/CS?

In 1983 I took my CS to the Rick Warner Ford Mustang show in Salt Lake City. I ended up parked next to a guy that had a Shelby GT500KR convertible that had a factory original 2 speed rear end. At least he said it was factory and that they installed it in only a few and it didn't work all that...

Don't let the sunshine fool you.......

20 below zero here this morning, 22 below zero Friday morning with a wind chill of 31 below zero, the kids have been out of school since Wednesday. My CS is tucked away in the garage as well sunshine or not it's not coming out. The sunshine does look warmer there than the sunshine here and it...
