New Guy Looking at GT/CS on Ebay

The car looks to be in great shape. One thing I notice missing is the hood locks? Could be a replacement hood? Hook

    Photo's gone?

My pictures in the gallery seem to be fine, but I do notice in some of the forum posts that had photos in them there are a few that are missing. Hook

    Side Mirrors?

Mine also only has the drivers side mirror but I have a new NOS mirror still in the box on the shelf that I have contemplated putting on, just haven't done it yet. Hook

    GT/CS on ebay...GREAT DEAL!!!!

And the sad thing is that the legit sellers will get hurt because of this. Hook

Who is 68 calspec on ebay? You're an assh-le!!

I remember when I first started bidding on ebay. What a learning experience it is. That is ebay, I learned as was mentioned bid the absolute highest amount your willing to pay and if you lose it doesn't matter as you weren't willing to pay that amount. As for bidding at the last minute...

    gt/cs weight

Now look at that dedication, weighed his parts on the bathroom scale. **Standing and Clapping** ;) Very interesting, I'm with you, I don't think I'll be getting rid of my GT/CS based on this scientific bathroom finding. Hook

CS for sale on e-bay w/ prof of history and paperwork

The front end has been hit and most all of the front end sheet metal has been replaced according to the information on sale page. The lights are not even close to being in the correct postition from what I can see. They look way too close together in the center of the grill. Well documented...

Cs for sale on e-bay prt#2

Beautiful car in its own way and it looks like there was a lot of time and money put into it and it is possible he will find the right person to buy it for what he wants. I'd agree with him and I think his reply was very dignified in that it isn't what those of us into the true GT/CS's would be...

? For Paul...How Many Original Owners Are Out There?

That's really neat that you guys are original owners. Any stories of almost selling or losing the cars? Think you will ever sell them after having them this long? Cory

    Another Ebay car

Looks like a really nice car but like you I thought the fog lights looked odd. Couldn't really get a close enough view to verify it but they looked funny to me. Hook

    New California Special

Not so sure block would be that good here, you don't see to many of them around and my guess is the frost movement in the ground. Brick and morter will crack if you get movement and the frost tends to move things and it seems block would be less forgiving. May be wrong, it just might be a cost...

    New California Special

That would be great, I doubt anything I currently have would work but I'm looking at building a 30X24 shop out back in the field so that would offer plenty of room. Hook

    New California Special

I know how you feel Steve, I'm currently at 5 vehicles. ::) Two toys, one for commuting a pickup and an SUV and one garage space short of keeping them all out of the elements. That means the Runt, the one I drive for commuting is outside all the time and at 5 below zero this morning I have to...

    New California Special

We'd all be living together in one little house with a 10 acre parking lot full of sweet Mustangs and it would look like a car show or maybe a car lot. Be hard to resist one though wouldn't it. :-\ Hook

    Welder Choice?

Now if my hands will just make a perfectly fine welder I'll be all set. Find out tomorrow just how good I am as a beginner I guess. I'll post up some pictures of my handy or un-handy work. Hook

    New California Special

I have seen some computer artist graphics on what it would look like but I think it was just someone talented in the art of computer enhancement playing around. I don't think there are any plans out there. Double edged sword I'd say. I'd love to see one but I'd have to have it and the budget...

    Welder Choice?

Picked up my welder yesterday. Somewhere between point A and point B they convinced me that Miller is not only a little better machine as it has more metal parts and less plastic but Miller is way better to deal with on repairs and parts. They supposedly put the customer at the top of the...

    Weekend Project

One last thing I remembered, paint selection. If you are doing this as a fun project on a little runt car with Rattle Cans as I did, I would buy the best rattle can paint you can. I purchased mine at a farm and ranch supply store and I purchased industrial farm implement paint. In other words...
