I bought my CS in July this year, so its my three year project to restore it. I didn't make it to the International this year - went camping instead...

Looks like I will be installing a 289 after all - the 351 was toasted. Just makes the car more original if I go back to a 289 as I also have the numbers matching C4 transmission, so the FMX will be sold off. The '67 interior is also getting swapped out to go back to the original Ivy Gold '68...
When I took my '67 coupe to Oz I had to do the same thing with the amber lenses in the reverse lights. The law in Oz is that you must have an amber turn signal. So, your car has been rewired to pass licensing.
My '67 is now back in Canada - wiring and lenses all back to normal.
