Which brand and part# of leds did you use for the taillights?

I know of two places that do good work on west coast Sherm's Plating in Sacramento, Ca and in theeast Advance Plating in Tennessee. Cant really vouch for them anymore since it been like 10 years but still good rep

Yes and no. A good shop can do it. Yes they can grind the pock out(depends how deep) and triple plate . No they wont take risk of braking it. 20 years ago I found a place that did for me(now out of business). But signed a waiver if it broke I was out of luck. Chrome shops are much fewer today...

FYi all door and quarter glass is different to fit the convertible top as well as the floor seat risers

Another trick i use chavelothspins and/or binary clips (a lot) and lay it all out wrinkle free then glue it up in sections

I believe you are talking about the foglight circuit breaker that mounts to the z panel under the fuse box. It is a 10amp breaker same as the standard mustang foglights. interesting note Ford issued a service bulletin in March of 68 recommend upgrading to 25amp because of the Marchal lamps draw...

They still make the aluminum york both in r12 and 134a most vendors and rockauto have it. I got a brand new 134a york $187 from rockauto works great and everything looks factory original.

covers The difference the are not period correct. Technically No covers are correct from factory but the round ones(light indicators) were being produced in 68

The dash is suppose to be a chocolate Brown. I do not believe anybody repop's it at least they didn't 15 years ago when I restored mine. (got a used one in hemmings). The seat belts are the regular saddle color.

Unfortunately it is not dark blue it is a blue green and is unique for Aqua interiors, I know this because I restored a 68 standard Aqua interior mustang in 1988. And went through hell to get the correct dash pad (I had the pieces of the Original to match). Dealer's tried to sell me the dark...

In 68 (or 67) there are no short console all foor consoles are the same size. In 64 to 66 AC consoles were shorter with a chrome cap. Factory AC was in dash from 67 on. Under dash units were dealer installed or aftermarket, and there was no console change for AC. The only option in consoles...
