However, you decide to do the change I would recommend cutting off the heads of some long bolts and screwing them into the bellhousing. Everything will line up beautifully. I gave up the chest alinement procedure a long time ago.

I would warn anyone that changing to large diameter wheels with low profile wheel will greatly reduce the ride quality of early cars. The taller side wall works with the suspension to smooth the ride. Newer cars have a very sophisticated suspension to smooth the ride.

It was in fact sprayed on. There was a paint shield held along the rocker while the black was sprayed producing a soft edged line. Most painters want to do a tape line that makes a hard line. We expect to see body color over spray on the floor pan with black over spray over it. On rare occasions...

Ford also used a different style retainer that went on top of the top and wedged between the rain gutter and roof. It was made of stainless steel and looked very nice.

No, I sold it two years ago to help finance the GT 350 convertible.

I added this room on the shop last year. I only have four and I am going to sell the 68 390 GT. The 68 Shelby GT 350 Convertible was the last one I needed. I have a fastback and convertible Shelby's and the HCS is the coupe that Shelby didn't make. I am not buying any more till the next one.

Now I have seen it twice. My current project a 68 GT350 convertible was the same way. I could not believe it when I found it.

Do I understand that you checked continuity of tail light wire in the front to back harness? If it checked ok I would check continuity of each wire in that harness. Then if they all check out plug it in to the main harness and see which wire has the voltage. I have found wires in wrong locations...
