    What is the structure under the cap? Is it part of the fiberglass tail light panel? I would assume that is why there is a twist of cap on it. Judging from what you have posted so far you are going to have your work cut out for you on this one.

    SOLD '68 J-code Survivor

    Yes I saw it at the MCA grand national a couple of years ago. It is a very nice car but not concours correct. It did however win a Gold award in Occasionally driven. With a little work it could move up to Concours Driven.

    +1 on the Torque Thrusts if you are going away from stock. Here are some on a 67 coupe that I restored in 2015. I sold the car to a young couple that used it to drive away from their wedding.
