Hey Stephen, glad you got to visit Doug. I'm so lucky to live where I do. I had my GT/CS (and the 7-Up) out for a run last Sunday. I'm hoping this winter is mild, and there isn't much brine put down. We usually get a good rain for a couple of days to wash things down, and then I get the cars...

I just checked. No holes in the fender lips for the screws, so my car never had the moldings. Guess the bumper guards have been added. Thanks.

You could be correct. All I know for sure is that I like the look of the guards. :grin: If a car came without the wheel well moldings, would there be screw holes to mount them? In other words, did all fenders have holes for mounting moldings, regardless of having them installed or not? :smile:

No wheel opening moldings. The car was repainted in 2005. I suppose it is possible that they did not re-install them, or maybe they were too chewed up and were not replaced.

I have the original bill of sale for my GT/CS. No mention of the bumper guards being added. I'm of the opinion that the car was built with them.

I have the tape on one side of the trunk lid, but not the other. Is it possible that the factory did that or should it be on both sides. I'm wondering if only one side taped might be due to the way the lid fit. As it is, the trunk takes on no water, so I'm not wanting to mess with it. Thanks.
