Capturing ebay & craigslist ads for archive

I'm trying to educate myself going back through the classifieds to see what has been offered at what prices. It's a great archive with a lot of info. I do see some expired craigslist ad links & ebay listings without photos or details. Maybe going forward, we can figure out a way to capture the...

For Sale Highland Green S-Code, 4-Speed

So from the recent pdf of production features there were only 111 manual transmission S code engines. That sounds like a special and very desirable combination, at least to me. Maybe it's better to hold out for something really tasty like this one and spend the extra money?

How do YOU buy a car long distance?

That's encouraging. I'm just starting to think about, what happens if I see a car that I really like? Then what do I do? I'd definitely need some expert eyes to keep me out of trouble. I'm in Florida and all the cars seem to be in California. Maybe buying from a member of the forum would be a...

For Sale Presidential Blue GT/CS in NOCAL

I do like that deep blue. I wonder what engine it has. The stance looks a little high, and that interior would have to go. Maybe some more info needed on that accident and rust. How do you guys think it compares to this one here...

How do YOU buy a car long distance?

I'd love to hear some stories about your experience buying a car in another state. It sounds like a very scary thing to do.

1968 Production numbers based on options & color?

Thank you, that chart is a big help. It looks like there weren't many 4 speed transmissions, so that may be the challenge. 302 4 speed would probably be the sweet spot for me, not sure I could afford a 390 car. Those go for a lot more, right?

1968 Production numbers based on options & color?

Here's my wish list, not sure how realistic it is... -manual transmission -original paint, prefer blue family of colors -larger engine options would be a plus And would really love to find one with the GT package. I'm sure I will need to compromise. If the car was otherwise "right" and was...

    1968 Ruppstang's new HCS

Fantastic car, I love the result. The color is really nice and the old paint just looks so right to me.

1968 Production numbers based on options & color?

Is there some kind of table out there that shows how many GT/CS cars had which transmission, or which motor, in certain colors for example? I'm curious how many of the car I'm dreaming about were made.
