To get rid of the oxidation on the chrome, if soap and water does not work, just use 'OOO' steel wool, it will shine them up nicely.

Since the only thing that the bracket is used for with Lucas lights is to pass the wiring through the bolt hole. .... so I guess you could use a 68 GT bracket but it just looks different.

There is no difference between the brackets from Marchal and Lucas, however for the Lucas light only the wiring passes through the hole since they mount to the grille surround. As for the mounting pedestals, they are different and are very rare to find originals. There was someone on the site...

Also, be aware that to fit many aftermarket radios into the console radio bracket, it usually needs to be altered. The first pic is of the original bracket, and the next 2 are modified, top cut off, or radio posts cut off.
