That is THE color combo for me. Gulfstream Aqua with parchment interior and a hint of fake wood grain! Mmmmmmm.

1968 The Green Hornet and Little Red

Great photos. Very exciting to see those two cars together and yours fits in really well too. Does anyone else think the Green Hornet looks a little too "perfect", maybe a little overdone on the restoration?

    Considering Buying a GT Coupe

I guess the cowl is probably rusted if the torque boxes look that bad? I would wonder what's under the vinyl top too.

This one doesn't really please the eye or the wallet! The custom items don't really work together as a whole.

That should widen the search scope a lot. They usually go for like 400 - 500.

Wanted 68 lower counsel in good shape

Just watch ebay, and make sure it's not a '67 console. If your car is automatic, you'll have a much better chance of finding one quickly.

1968 It's great to be part of the driving club again.

Congratulations. Very nice ride. Manual transmission? It looks like you still have the smog system on there, right?

1968 Repairing cracked fiberglass rear tail light valence

What materials have you guys used to repair cracks in your taillight panels? The corner of my figerblass piece is missing and two of the tail light mounting holes are busted through. I'd rather repair the original than get a reproduction :)

For Sale Ebay: 1968 Mustang GT/CS Original/Used Early Fiberglass Trunk Lid

Thanks Arlie. Now I understand. I see that rectangular cutout on the driver side near the trunk latch. I was thinking about this circular hole referenced in the book. Most of the decklids I've been looking at that I think are original, don't seem to have this circular hole.

For Sale Ebay: 1968 Mustang GT/CS Original/Used Early Fiberglass Trunk Lid

Do all the originals have that? I'm looking at another car and the deck lid texture looks right but it doesn't have a circular hole on the passenger side for the trunk light. I've been searching through the site but can't really find an answer. I see some decklids shown as original that don't...

C4SB-13440-B is what I'm seeing as well as the casting number. The parts boxes seem to have different numbers.

1968 Little Red Found in Texas

Got to be one of the most significant finds in recent memory. Fascinating how they located it. Got the VIN from Kevin Marti (I guess) and then did a records lookup to locate the last registration. How would you guys approach the restoration? There won't be much original car left.
