1968 Left turn signal not working properly

Maybe a bad relay? It sounds like something may have affected the bimetallic strip and it's not curling as it should to create the break in circuit (flashing). I remember when I installed LED taillights that the lower power draw wasn't enough to cause flashing in the relay. Perhaps it's...

    1968 New Brake Distribution Block?

Thank you. This is the block I have, yes. It's looking like my best bet will be rebuilding it. It looks like all I'll need is this kit and the "brake pressure differential switch tool" to keep the shuttle centered when bleeding in the future...

    1968 New Brake Distribution Block?

Whoops, dunno how I missed that. So far I've not been able to find a drum drum repro block. Looks like I'll have to try and rebuild mine. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

    1968 New Brake Distribution Block?

wccc doesn't have any either. I might be looking at trying to find a rebuilt one. If absolutely necessary, I might try to rebuild mine myself but it's pretty gnarly. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

    1968 Disc Brake Conversion Complete

Hi there Cory, 15 years after your posts I'm in your shoes. How have these brakes been performing for you? Have they worked with both 14" and 15" wheels? Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

    1968 Disc brake conversion

Thanks, Arlie! Glad to see it looks like the kit discussed in that thread works with both 14" and 15" wheels. I'll give them a call. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

    1968 Disc brake conversion

Hi everyone, thinking of doing a front disc conversion myself. I have a 289 Auto, dual well master cylinder and brake booster. Anyone had a good experience with a kit they'd recommend? Will I be able to use my existing master cylinder and brake booster? Also, will disc brakes work with both 14"...

    1968 Upper console installation

Neil, I found a red one for sale near me. Is putting on new black vinyl doable or should I keep looking for a black one? Also, should I consider dyeing it black? Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

    1968 Cowl Damage

Yikes, never seen anything like that before either. It looks like maybe they had a wrench or screwdriver on the hood and it slid towards the cowl and got lodged while closing. I know sometimes I leave my hood slightly up and will lift it quickly to and then bring it down to latch properly...

    For Sale 1968 CS Restomod

This one looks similar (but isn't the same car) to the black restomod that was at Mecum in Vegas last year. They should do a better job pointing out it isn't an authentic GT/CS. Still, a nice find and thanks for sharing. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
