1968 Cal Special for sale! 42k.
All original except for dual exhaust , 4 barrel edelbrock 500 cfm carb. Aftermarket rocker panel trim but have original thst need minor work and buffing.
Original color Gulf Stream Aqua, black vinyl top, black interior with front bench seat. All new interior in original material - not a kit! Original comfort weave material from SMS in Oregon. All interior including dash pad, headliner , carpet , door panels have been replaced. Original seats were padded and reupholstered. All new door handles , locks , arm rests, etc.
also original faced radio with upgraded Bluetooth capabilities.
Engine is matching numbers as well as tranny. Both rebuilt . Mild cam upgrade. Sounds great ! 289 Auto C-4 auto trans. Original upgraded radiator ( 390 size for extra cooling) I have original compressor for air conditioning not on car. ( 1969 they added the Mark IV air conditioner from Sears). Most chrome except vent windows rechromed . 1968 gt wheels . ( not original) but I have original rims/ beauty rings and ford gt caps all in good shape.
Engine was professionally built as well as Tranny. Dyno tested 250 horse with headers . (Not on car) . Engine has ceramic coated exhaust manifolds.
Car has the rare marchal fog lights with the original grille that has the brackets so fog lights are floating in grille. ( No post underneath light).
Car was found in a garage in Cali. Unmolested and all original from 2nd owner who bought it in 1969. Car has been stripped down to metal ( door jams, etc), primed and painted . Shows very nice!
Not in a hurry to sell so no low ball offers. It’s a very nice real California Special with a very rare color with bench seat and marchal fog lights. A unique thing is it had 67 door panels on it ( with the original interior). I still have the panels.
Again 42k or best offer over 40. I’ve got much more into it than that. In La Center WA.
