Running 68’ Highland Green GT/CS California Special For sale
With only 4,118 California special made in 68,Ford ended up remarketing 251 units as High Country Specials, so the actual number of California Specials sold to the public sits at 3,867 cars, So its a super rare car finished in arguable the most desirable colour for 1968 ‘highland green’
289 C code V8 with a C4 automatic gearbox,Engine runs good. The radiator was leaking so it was removed. She has been off the road for several years so the fuel tank should be replaced.
It has all California special parts apart from the front foglights. Its had a replacement fender, hood and apron which we presume was a fender bender back in the day.
She is extremely solid. Front and rear rails are solid along with the torque boxes and rockers. It needs some minor patch work to the floors and regular surface rust but as early mustangs goes this one is in great shape.
Sold with a clean title and a copy of the Marti Report. Located in Aragon Georgia
