This 1968 Mustang GT/CS was initially delivered to Sun Motors of Solvang, California, and it is one of 4,118 examples ordered with the California Special equipment package for the model year. The car is finished in white over blue upholstery and powered by a 289ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 14″ steel wheels with GT hubcaps, power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, blue accent stripes, a fiberglass rear spoiler, faux side scoops, front bucket seats, a center console, and lap belts. The car was acquired by the seller in April 2011, and work completed during their ownership included rebuilding the transmission, refreshing the brakes and ignition system, and replacing the carburetor, fuel pump, water pump, timing chain, and battery. This California Special coupe is now offered with a Deluxe Marti report, records from current ownership, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
