I've always liked the Talladega's. I keep thinking I need to fabricate an Aero nose for the '69 convertible I'm working on, if I ever get that far.

Nice Talladega! The tag i had on my 1967 Shelby GT-500, 427 side oiler w/weber carbs used to get attention. Hemi Hunter wouldn't have fit on a tag. Sold it over 25 years ago and included the original engine. I understand the guy I sold it to put the 427 in a cobra kit and put the original engine back in the Shelby. One of 8 1967-1969 Shelbys I have owned over the years.

There was also a 1969 Mercury version called the Spoiler II. Also and aero car, but those were typically optioned with a 351W-4V engine. All of the homologation cars were bench seats and column shift automatics like the Talledegas.
Two versions of the SpoilerII, Cale Yarborough and Dan Gurney editions.
Talledegas were supposed to be all Q code 428CJ's and column shift automatics. Three exterior colors, wimbeldon white, presidential blue, and royal maroon.
