It was probably an original Hawaii car. Most of them were ordered with the heater delete. The owners received a $30 rebate if they ordered the car with the heater delete option.

My dads GT-CS was sold out of the 72 DSO San Jose Ca. and it has the heater delete as well. It will be getting a heater for Nebraska! Marty
