Every once in a while, one runs across a solution to a restoration challenge, and I wanted to share a solution with everyone today.

I have been restoring the dash cluster on my '68 GT and have been looking for paint that matches the red flourescent paint found on the speedometer dial and needles. I have had little/no luck until today. While shopping at Home Depot, I found a 3 oz. spray paint can called Rust-O-Leum American Accents in the color "Glow Orange". The color match is perfect and the cost was a "whopping" $2.17!!!

Just mask off the needle and spray on for a beautiful new look to those faded needles!

I found a testors paint pen that made doing the needles a very easy task.
