I purchased a set of sill plates for the Highland Green C/S. NOT HAPPY. Taiwan piece of junk. Not only are they flimsy, the screw holes are displaced 1/4".
Can anyone suggest a decent replacement? Quality & fitment are my priorities.

Neil if you can find a decent set of originals most of the scratches will polish out. They are aluminum and not anodized. Of course NOS would be the best but cost $$$.

Neil, what manufacturer's name is on the packaging for the sill plates you bought. I hate it when the quality is so bad that you can't use parts you pay good money for.

I got these from CJ Pony Parts. Their P/N DSP1, mfr'd by gii/corvex. Taiwan. $37 for the pair. I'm going to order Scott Drake parts- and hope they're better.

Ron came through for me.
He's getting me a set like he's used & recommends.
This C/S is turning out so nice, I can't be putting junk parts on it.

Neil,

Where is he getting them from? I'm almost ready for the new carpet kit myself, and if the door sills need replacing, I'd like to jump on it.

Thanks,

Robert
