I need a new heater core for the Mustang. Where is the best place to get one and is the copper and brass or aluminum the better one. Local shops around here have a hard time finding one other than going online. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Prior to installing, have the core pressure checked for leakage by a radiator shop.

My GT/CS had one that appeared to be an original. My shop highly suggested having it rebuilt instead of gambling on the repros. It cost a little more, but appears to have been worth it.

Aluminum will fail from electrolysis, we recommend the premium brass version.
