Are they a Pita to install? Or are they easy?

I'll need to acquire one-- check your parts boxes. They seem to run $30-40 ish? Is that a fair price for original?

Depends on condition, many OEM are pitted so it depends what you want. Some repros are chrome. I think OEM was argent or a dull "hard" chrome similar to the convertible header trim, but have not seen categorical definition of what the OEM finish was. I am sure Marty or others can chime in and clarify.

On price for a clean OEM, a repro runs $50-60 so I'd price a nice unpitted OEM slightly above that. $30-40 gets you a spare/junkyard one and that is hit or miss on pitting. So $30-40 for a clean OEM is a good price.

JMHO.

And they are dead easy to install, just need all the bits (spring, rings, contacts) in the right places and it slips right in.
