Yeah I was wondering where you were! Not one Mustang won an award out of forty given out! They seem to have liked the old hot rods better. John Force was there, Chip Foose, blah blah blah......had a GREAT time, a bazillion cars, motorcycles, fire trucks (one ambulance), even boats! I didn't take any pictures but I did hear that a man was taking pictures of me while I was napping inside my car. Hey, I'd been up since 2 AM.
There were three California Specials. Lisa and Stan with Buttercup,Sherryl with her Brittany Blue 390/bench seat, and Ed (he doesn't visit this board) with his beautiful turquoise CS. Joe brought his restomod with more mods on it.
John Force reported that this was the biggest CHP toys for tots drive they have ever had there and it was a nightmare on the nearby freeway with classic cars backed up on the off ramp. I got there at 6AM to get in line for the show that was open to the public at 10. Thank goodness Lisa told me to be there extra early, I got right in.
We had a mountain of toys and a great day!
