Do original marchal fog lights have 656 on the glass in the upper left hand corner of the lens. I have read that originals didn't have 656 on the glass. I have seen a set on e-bay that did have 656 on the glass and were stated as ultra rare originals. They sure looked exactly like the ones mustangs unlimited has on their website. Would like to know if I ever do come across a set. Thanks for any reply's.

The lense they are describing in the CoralSnake site is actually the same as a Marchal 653 lense

Marchal 656 lights all have the 656 writing on them. If they do not have it it's an earlier lense or light. The replica's have all the correct writing on the lens. All 656's have H1 bulbs and that is why they were to bright and they changed to Lucas. 653 Marchal lights look like the 656's but use the old round bulb (BA21S).
