Finally got all the pulley problems worked out for my Holley 174 blower. I'll probably start it tomorrow. Wish me luck:grin:

I can't tell you how excited I am to get this car back on the road. Of course, I'll be driving it without a hood for a couple of weeks, until the body shop finishes up with the CJ scoop and paint on the new hood.

One thing I haven't decided on, but have to pretty quickly. Do I go with the black hood stripe, or just paint it all Wimbledon White?

You "could" just leave the hood scoop and hood white, then put a "supercharged" script enblem on each side of the CJ scoop (if it's not too big and would look right).

Or... as I found in a Mustang booklet years ago; in '69, the Ford dealer could paint your '67 or '68 hood to look like a '69 Mach 1 hood (low-gloss black with an outline stripe). The hood and scoop like that would look interesting, with your black (right?) CS side stripes.

Just an idea,

Paul N.

Do you have any pics of this scoop and hood? I can't quite visualize it.

It's like this hood, but instead of a shaker, it's the CJ hood scoop:

also get a look at:

Sorry--no "Le Mans stripes", just a blackout hood like the Mach.

But! If you weren't committed to your own hood, you might consider the '67 Shelby hood--but the version made to fit on a stock Mustang. That hood, painted white would be subtle, but give a sense of "something big" under the hood. I think Maier Racing still makes it.

Just an idea,

Paul N.

Still needs a little work and some cleaning, but she started up and ran very nicely.

While at the Grand National at Youngstown my son was hanging around the dyno. He got the bug and last week he got one.

After buying the dyno my son was scraping some money up to pay for the dyno. He had a Boss 302 air scoop so he put it on ebay and he got 1500 for it.

The Supercharger looks great. The HEI kind of looks odd in the front of the motor, but that is the way to go. I bet it will be a blast to drive.

I had my Marauder supercharged and I have never looked back once you drive a supercharged car it is hard to go back N/A.

I think I'm going to go with this option. Any idea where I could find the script?

BTW, I drove the GT/CS today to test it out. It's awesome!!!
