Donna and I were talking about dogs the other day and that got me thinking about all the wonderful furry companions who have enriched my life over the years. Here are my current roommates.

Max is the little black terrier mix, and of course everyone knows Nani, the Carolina dog / American Dingo troublemaker.

"Jake the Snake" ...

"Jake" is my third German Shorthaired Pointer and probably the best hunter of the three. We've had him since he was 7 weeks old, but he is turning 9 years old in June. Here are some old and new photos of my best little buddy ... including a couple with his Mom, one with a Pheasant and one with a Hungarian Partridge that he pointed for her ...
Two vintage Mustangs, a really good hunting dog, and a wife that will drive all the way out to Alberta and bird hunt with me over my dog. Life doesn't get much better than that!
