passenger side view mirror

I recently purchased a CS/GT. I see that many others have the passenger side view mirror. I suspect that this was part of some "visibility option". Is it difficult to find this mirror to install? Also I like the idea of being able to adjust the mirror(s) from inside the car. What does this entail to do this? If I do this it will change the original car itself. Does this hurt (in this group's opinion) the resale value of the car?
