I have tried locally to sell the GT/CS, with no success, so thought I would try this ( our site ) and Cars-on-line where I might get a better response. I know the US economy is not good, and I am asking a good price, but the truth is it is a gorgeous car with no flaws, and if I can't get my price, simple, I keep it.
The car has the GT Equipment option, has a Marti report and is fully restored.
It has a 302, 4bbl, auto, PS, PB, nice sounding exhaust, and the rest is as per all GT/CS. The engine was rebuilt about 2000 miles ago it runs strong, with the rebuild there was a new carb added, roller rockers, bored 30 over and a competition cam. The internals of the engine are the only things not stock about the car. Along with rebuild I changed the rad, added a shroud, and 6 blade fan.
The car is royal Maroon, with white stripes. The restoration was done in 2004, it was basically down the the uni body and put back together with a lot of correct detail, it is numbers matching and comes with all the pieces it started with. Restoration include almost every nut, bolt and screw being replaced, and crayon markings replicated. The car has no known flaws in the paint or interior. Since restoration, the car has been mostly a show car, it is garage stored, and yes it has been caught in the rain, ( shit happens ). The AM radio sits in it's usual spot, hidden in the glove compartment is an AM/FM Cd that provides good tunes while traveling.
I am asking $31,500 for the car, and you can fly in and drive it home or arrange your own shipping. As a friend said the other day, “ if you are looking for a GT/CS, you won’t find one better than this “.
