Spent the day up in Grass Valley with Midnight Special & his son TJ. Had a great time!! Washed and moved several Mustangs around (a lot of work!) and took quite a few pictures....

Thank you Tim :cheesy:

...What a great day indeed! The "show stoppin" Stevenson Special was also a show starter!! After a week of rain & bad case of cabin fever, it was time to get 'everybody" out and just play cars :) I've never known a more proud and energetic owner than Renee! First up were the "Specials"...

...Absent from the pack was the red 'S'. Not because it is currently engineless, but rather (after reading another thread) it doesn't have stripes!

There was also a nagging pine tree in the way of a good head-on shot, so we thought... "when in doubt - take it out!...

...TJ had alot of fun with his ultra-smooth '68 coupe as well. He's currently a "permitted" driving student in HS auto shop. He had the wheels off of his car THREE TIMES over the weekend checking his brakes, wheel bearings, chassis lubing and ..... who knows? Notice the black tire marks on the driveway in some of the photos... No - this is not an airport runway!

We concluded with some shots of the Machs with Renee's classy new flagship. All in all, a fantastic day! Thank you Renee!!

Very nice CS collection and congrats again to Renee'. I'm a bit jealous because ol' man winter is not done yet, and my car won't emerge from the garage for couple of weeks. I can't wait to get it out, detail it and drive it!!

...Sorry "Perk", but we don't tolerate jealousy! Many of those who have said they were jealous were (if elderly) ushered into the passenger seat and given a wonderful ride or (if able) put behind the driver's seat and become part of the "train". The objective being an experience of "pride"!

A nice aside of this is we qualify a bank of alternate drivers should Renee decide to faint again ;-)

So when ole man winter finally subsides, and your bottle of McGuier's thaws.... Get out your car AND camera.....and continue to make us proud!

:)

Okay, so I admit I fainted one time! I was just overwhelmed at how beautiful my new GT/CS was when I first saw it. I promise not to faint when we are heading out for a drive. That is unless Nate hands me the keys to his incredible car :)

I don't know Nate. You hand me the keys to your beautiful Mustang, and I may just faint again!! But I will recover quickly so I can drive it

We miss you too and would love to have you come down for the Grass Valley car show again this year! It will be on April 25th. I'm sure I can talk Tim into letting you drive the Mach again

Think about it...

Great pictures!! However, I only have one suggestion...... If it were me, I would be calling it the "Foster GT/CS"!!!

Thanks for sharing the photo's with us.

When is the first show for PonyGal? I know you all had plans on a big show soon.

Paul

Hey Paul,

The first showing of the Stevenson/Foster GT/CS will be this coming Saturday, April 25th, in Grass Valley. This is a big show held in the historic downtown district and hosts over 300 cars. Tim (Midnight Special) has a special area set aside for his "group". I plan to show both the CS and my little Gold Coupe (thank you Clubpro for agreeing to drive the Coupe).

We will post pictures after the show...

Great!! Can't wait to hear the results. How is the car doing? Hope everything is going okay and you are enjoying the ride! Zach and I were together this weekend on a "boys weekend out" at our family farm and cabin. We spoke quite a bit about how we are going to miss the show season this year.

Good luck and keep us informed.

Paul
