Does anyone have a good, up close picture of the orignal tail light wiring cloth loom covering? I want to match the color when I have my wiring re-covered. Is it all black or black with one (or more) braid a different color? Thanks

Doug

Most of mine looks brownish... 40+ years on who knows what it was like new!

How do they recover it? Seems it needs to be on the loom before the plugs are installed? Which would require cutting/splicing, or is it some shrink type the looks kinda original?

The cloth loom is woven on the wiring, it is not pulled on and there is no cutting. The wire harness MUST be strong enough to, as they say, 'beat the dust out of a rug' since the machine pulls the harness along as it weaves.
