I have been visiting my grandkids (and their parents) for over 10 years in a small Texas town. There is a building with several mustangs in it that I would peek in the windows and check them out on every visit. Finally, I was able to contact the owner. I told him about my California Special, and he said do you have time to take a ride? He took me to his house and opened the garage. A dusty 68 GT/CS was there that he bought in the early 70's. Then, we went to his building and among his collection was his son's 68 GT/CS. Both cars are in excellent run & drive rust free condition. He also has a large collection of OEM/NOS parts. To respect his privacy, I will not provide any more detail. Nothing is for sale.

On our next visit, I loaned him a copy of Paul Newitt's "GT/CS Recognition Guide & Owner's Manual " which he greatly appreciated. Next time I will try to talk him into getting his cars in the registry. What fun!

@TexDan Thank you for sharing.

If the owner would like to register but doesn't want to use the site, he can email [email protected] the information. We will add them to the master sheet, and the owner's information isn't shared with anyone.

I can also supply them with a GT/CS Registry sticker for each car once registration is completed.
