UofSC sticker on the back of my CS

When I bought my California Special about 4 years ago this University of Southern California sticker was on it. I never could make myself take it off through the restoration process, seeing how it tied it back to its home state. So four years later its still hanging in there and I figured I could post a few pics of it and see if this is anybodys old college car, or maybe get an idea of where is came from. Figured it would be worth a shot. :undecided

That looks like an old sticker for USC. I vote you rip that thing off and burn it... of course I'm a Bruin so I'm a bit biased.

I had a college sticker on my rear window also. When I restored the car I had the glass out so I used a heat gun to remove the sticker and then put it in a plastic baggie. All the "memorabilia" that I find in a car I restore goes in a bag. It's part of it's history to me.

hey chet...the first time i ever saw a CS on the road...it was here in southern cali...and it was silver with black stripes...the guy had a newer GT mustang seat in it...and under the trunk lid there was an alarm button and he had a really nice stereo in it....i cant tell from the pictures you posted if that is the same car or not, but it definitely could be..i'll tell you if you post more pictures

Iv been working on some pics to put up a gallery, but I dont think they are the same car. When the paint was sanded off its still had its original coat and werent any colors other than the gulf stream aqua. But after 39 years who knows what that cars been through.
