I have talked with the owner about the 390. I have detailed info on the car including VIN number. It is in the 1996 Registry.

The car listed in the second link (Sunlit Gold) in OK looks like a 390 "X" code if my eyes aren't deceiving me. Non-GT, single exhaust. Asking price is $23,000.00. Not a bad price if it is a 390 "X" code. The one in Canada is also a 390. Pretty rare to see two 390 car's up for sale. No price on the one in Canada though.

the gold 390 looks like he has the 2bbl intake in the trunk. Maybe converted to a 4bbl? at 23k for full asking price it SEEMS like a decent deal. I assume you could get it for 21k.

Canada car that I talked to the guy about is a S code and in the 96 Registry. Overall it sounds like a 7.5 to 8.0 out of 10 car. It can be bought for roughly 23-24k Canadian which is roughly $19,500 to $20500 US. Transport will be at least $1000-$1500 for the Canada car plus you have to get it registered in the US. This can be a pain if they make you pull the front fenders.

I just don't have room at the moment or I would be all over one of these.

looking closer at the gold car it seems they have replaced a few interior items (instrument bezel, wheel/wheelpad and taillight bezels are replacement because of the black on them and incorrect color grill moldings).

The sunlit gold sure is nice. I dont see how you can go wrong on the price for a 390 if it checks out. Casey

I have seen the Gold GT/CS and it is NOT a 390. When I talked to the place that is selling the car, he said it was a 289 car, and the 2bbl in the trunk is there because he switched the car over to a 4bbl. He has a Marti Report on the car. Overall it is an okay car, but is NOT worth $23,000.
